Happy Friday everyone!
What a week! At times it seemed like the looooooongest week ever, other times it just flew by.
I have mentioned My Paper Pumpkin around here before, but figured that since I just received this months kit, I would share with you!
I received it Tuesday, and Tuesday night I sat down to dig in!
When you open the pretty orange box, this is what you see. All of your goodies neatly wrapped in pretty blue tissue paper, with a Paper Pumpkin sticker holding it all together.
Every month you receive an exclusive stamp set, along with an Ink Spot in a color that coordinates with that months kit. This month the Ink Spot was Blackberry Bliss.
You also receive all of the contents sealed up in a pouch, including full instructions.
Everything in this months kit… 12 cards (4 each of 3 different styles), 12 envelopes, beautiful die cuts (flowers and leaves), 3 different types of banner die cuts, sequins, as well as a sheet of adhesive dots.
Literally… there is nothing else you need!!!! In your first kit you also get a stamp block. As long as you have that, you can just grab your kit and go!
Close up of the die cuts and the sequins (soft gold, a peachy clear, as well as iridescent pink clear). I love the gold sequins, I am hoping that they have something similar available in our new catalog coming out in June!
Putting together the cards is a breeze with the included instructions!
I only put together 3 of the cards (one of each style), just to show you all. If you stick to the instructions, it shouldn’t take you longer than 30-45 minutes to put together all 12 of the cards!
Here is a quick video of this months kit
I do like to save whatever I don’t use for alternate projects. The great thing about Paper Pumpkin is that it is so versatile! Even if that months theme isn’t exactly your cup of tea, you can still use it for so many things. There is a great group on Facebook that only shares alternate projects for Paper Pumpkin. Lets face it, as great as Stampin’ Up is, they can’t get it 100% right for 100% of the people 100% of the time.
