Santa’s Sleigh- Take 3!

Did everyone have a great weekend? 🙂

Today I have the 3rd and final card from my September Stamp-A-Stack class.

If you remember, we used only the Santa’s Sleigh Bundle.  This card was fussy for sure, but everyone seemed to really like it!

We stamped and die cut 4 of the trees, then scored each from the top to the bottom down the middle. Fold each in half, then apply glue to just one side of the back and adhere a tree to the back. Fold over, and repeat! Do that 3 times so all of your trees are adhered together (making sure that you apply glue to just one side of each tree!). Fan open the tree and adhere the whole back onto the matting layer.

We used some Gold Metallic Thread to wrap around the tree as the garland, then applied dots of Dazzling Details (Real Red- retired, and Gold Glitz) for the lights.

So pretty! Because of the tree being pretty complex, I kept the rest of the card fairly simple.

The nice thing about this card is that the tree folds down flat very easily for mailing.
