Good morning!
Just as quick post to share that our son has made his arrival!

There were no signs of labor, not a thing was happening. I went to my regular OB appointment last Monday, the 19th. I was showing signs of gestational hypertension. In any pregnancy over 37 they then induce labor. I was 38 weeks.

So that’s what they did… Jackson Robert was born 6/20 at 3:59pm, 8lbs 1oz, 20 inches long, completely healthy, and we are so in love!!

It is an adjustment having a newborn home with us. I forgot about the lack of sleep!! My husband is an amazing help, he even changed the first poopy diaper at home (and I think the 2nd one…). I lucked out!

So forgive me if the blog is *really* quiet for the next few weeks. Hopefully you understand!
